Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the MVP Products website and to any order you place with us. The website is operated by MVP Products Pty Ltd (ABN 33 701 776 203), trading as MVP Products ("we", "us" and "our"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

MVP Products is Queensland's authorised Decora distributor, supplying Microcement, Venetian Plaster, decorative finishes and professional tools to trades and DIY customers. Our full contact details are set out in our Contact Information policy.

2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

3. Products, colours and finishes

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours can look different from screen to screen, and Microcement, Venetian Plaster and other decorative finishes are applied by hand, so texture, tone and movement will vary with the substrate, application technique, tools, number of coats and site conditions. We recommend ordering a colour sample or sample brochure before committing to a colour.

4. Using our products

Always follow the manufacturer's technical data sheets, safety data sheets and application instructions, and check that a product suits your substrate and environment before you begin. Any advice, guides or training content we provide is general in nature. The final result depends on surface preparation and application.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Prices and availability can change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we'll contact you before processing your order, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. We don't store your full card details.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we'll refund you in full.

Some products can be ordered while they are temporarily out of stock. If an item on your order isn't in stock, we'll let you know the expected dispatch date, and you can choose to wait or cancel that item for a refund.

7. Shipping and delivery

We deliver to all Australian states and territories except Victoria. Delivery costs, times and conditions are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

8. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled in line with our Refund Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products. Where our liability for goods that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use can lawfully be limited, it is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or paying the cost of replacing or repairing the goods.

10. Website content and intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, videos and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Decora and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners.

11. Accounts and your information

If you create an account, please keep your login details secure. We collect and handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Third-party links

Our website may link to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
