The CO.ME Black Box is a complete professional Venetian Plaster tool kit: 10 Italian-made trowels and tools in one waterproof, shock-resistant case. It's built for applicators who work across polished, textured and specialty finishes, and want the right tool for every stage without buying piece by piece.
CO.ME has made plastering tools in Italy for decades, and most of the stainless trowels in this kit are mirror-polished, so they glide over lime without dragging or marking the surface.
What's inside, and what each tool is for
For applying and building coats
- Trapezoidal Venetian trowel with bevelled edges, 240 × 100mm. The everyday workhorse for laying on base and finishing coats. The bevelled edges help avoid trowel lines.
- Oval Venetian trowel, 240 × 100mm. Rounded ends with no corners to dig in, for soft, cloudy movement in finishes like Carrara and Canova.
- Rhombus Venetian trowel, 240 × 120mm. An angled shape for directional strokes and more pronounced movement.
- Rectangular Venetian trowel, 200 × 80mm. A smaller blade for control on narrow walls, reveals and smaller areas.
For polishing
- ABS trowel with bevelled edges, 280 × 130mm. A plastic trowel for polishing finishes that shouldn't touch steel on the final pass. Decora specifies a plastic trowel for polishing Luce.
- Flexible 0.3mm matte stainless trowel, 240 × 100mm. A thin, flexible blade designed for acrylic decorative products.
For detail work
- Mini Venetian trowel, 40/80 × 140mm. For corners, around switch plates and other tight spots where a full trowel won't fit.
- Swiss trowel, 80mm. A compact blade for edges, returns and touch-ups.
- Putty knife with rounded edges, 80mm. For loading trowels, mixing small batches and filling.
- Ashlar-cutting tool for joints. For scoring joint lines into fresh plaster to create a cut-stone or block effect.
The case
Made from 100% recycled material, waterproof and shock-resistant, measuring 574 × 361 × 225mm. It keeps blades protected between jobs, which matters because a nicked edge will mark a polished finish.

Caring for your trowels
Clean blades straight after use, while the plaster is still soft, and dry them fully before storing them in the case. Never scrape a polished blade with anything abrasive.

What payment methods can I use?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay through our secure checkout. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, and we never store your full card details.
Are your tools genuine?
Yes. MVP Products is Queensland's authorised Decora distributor, and every tool we sell is genuine stock from established brands such as Decora, Mirka and Build Smart.
Can I return a tool if it isn't right for me?
Yes. Tools and accessories can be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery, as long as they are unused, unopened and in their original packaging. Please contact us with your order number before sending anything back. Return shipping is at your cost and original shipping isn't refunded. Once we have received and checked the item, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method.
Can I return Microcement or Venetian Plaster?
Not for a change of mind. Much of the range is custom tinted to order for your project, so we are unable to accept change of mind returns on Microcement, Venetian Plaster or any custom tinted product. If you are unsure, order a colour sample or call us before you buy.
What if my order is faulty or arrives damaged?
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If anything is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours of delivery) with your order number and photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund and cover reasonable return shipping costs.
